Sustainable Innovations

Equator Renewables Asia is expanding its clean energy innovation beyond solar and storage solutions into the rapidly emerging realm of green hydrogen, leveraging Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carrier (LOHC) technology. LOHC enables safe, efficient hydrogen storage and long‑distance transport at ambient conditions—all while utilizing existing fuel infrastructure.

Our Core Focus Areas

Production

We use solar-powered electrolysis to generate green hydrogen from renewable energy sources fitting seamlessly with our high‑impact solar farms across Southeast Asia.

Loading onto LOHC

The hydrogen is bound to a liquid organic carrier via proprietary hydrogenation catalysts, creating a stable and transportable medium for delivery.

Transport & Storage

Our LOHC fluid is shipped or piped at ambient conditions—dramatically reducing logistics complexity and costs compared to traditional methods.

Unloading & Recycling

At the end-use destination, hydrogen is released through a catalyst‑driven dehydrogenation process. The now-depleted carrier is recovered and reused in multiple cycles, ensuring sustainability and repeatable economics.
